Session Overview

Most of our organizations are infected with knee-jerk reactions, firefighting and crisis de-jour leadership. Building on the experience of the participants, this interactive advanced practitioner's session will examine the intended and unintended consequences of using systems thinking as an antidote.

We will explore how given the stresses and strains on our organizations today, we can help our business partners consciously think systemically and act strategically.

This session will include the tools and methodologies that can help us help them. It will largely be driven by Q&A and our shared experiences both successful and disappointing.

Biographical Sketch

Dr. Paul Stimson is the Managing Partner of Work Systems Affiliates International Inc., a leader in organizational and leadership development and consulting. He has been involved with MIT/Sloan School's System Dynamics group.
